Standard Bank

We were asked by Standard Bank to assist and mentor the in-house usability team. We were asked to lead the usability team within the Core banking platform project, guiding and teaching the team in usability best-practice, methodology and tools that usability uses every day. The year-long project worked across all the phases in development of a very complex platform. We were involved in getting buy-in from key stakeholders, analysing requirements, blueprints, process flows and technical design decisions, raising usability issues that may impact the project and future multi-channel roll-out, rationalising development to ensure the customer is not forgotten and ensuring the value of usability is understood by the 500 strong project team. The project is a seven year project one of the largest ever to be undertaken by a bank. Due to the nature of this project no sample work can be disclosed
